Why you “hate sales” …Part 2

Please share this video as well. And we’re going to get right into it because I do understand the value of your time. So this month we’re concentrating on the reasons why you may hate selling. So today we’re going to talk about another reason of why you hate selling. And last week we talked about it was dealing with your mindset and how you personally view selling. And today we’re going to talk about the fact that another reason you may hate selling because you do not focus on the individual, you focusing on your product or your service that you’re trying to sell them, but you need to focus on the individual you’re trying to sell that product or service to.
What kind of pain points are they experiencing? What is showing up in their lives prior to them getting your product or your service that will provide the solution. So if you concentrate, instead of telling them, oh my service gets this many sessions, this community, it gets this, or my product does this, is this many ounces, does this concentrate on what is it that they are experiencing that your product or service can be the solution to? That’s what it is that you need to personally focus on and right reason why you are struggling or hating sales is because you’re not emphasizing what’s going on with the individual that you’re trying to sell to. You really need to make sure that you’re really concentrating on what’s going on in their life, what they are experiencing, and then seeing if your product or your service is the solution to what they’re experiencing.
And if not, you may have somebody in your network that you can recommend them to or you may have a resource that you can also refer them to, may it be an article, one of your blog posts or some digital download that you may have for them that can help them with their service. So another reason that you may be hating selling is because you’re not focusing on the individual. So I want you the next time you’re not having opportunities to sell somebody your product or service. Make sure you’re focusing on them, focusing on what’s going on in their life and how your product or your service could provide that solution for them.
