Are you like me, waiting for the day you can completely let go of social media and not be bothered by it anymore? Or after you have mastered one platform another comes along? Or maybe you can not keep up anymore? Where should you post or how many posts should you make per day?

I totally get it. All of us feel that way.

When I am not in business yet, I am not active on social media at all. Although I do have a Facebook profile, I do not post anything because I value my privacy.

But when I started my business, social media became a part of me. I need to market my business.

The best and most free way to market your business is through social media.

So I have managed to learn every single medium. But sometimes managing your own social media is very tiring and sometimes very frustrating.

So here are 3 ways that will help you navigate social media even if you do not like it and somehow make your life easier and prevent you from being sucked dry by social media.

1. Figure out which platform is best for your service.

Get familiar with your business and then choose the platform that works best for you. For example, if you are an interior designer, Instagram is for you. Here you can create a mood board with your designs and post your ideas, fabrics, and even techniques that will put your business at the top of the game.

If you feel that there is no suitable platform for you, then do some market research and find the platform that will help your business get known. Once you find it, familiarize yourself with that platform and make sure you use it to publicize your products and services online.

2. Use or invest in social media tools

Since you are just starting your business and can not afford to hire a social media manager, find a tool you like and use it. I recommend Smarter Q. This tool helps you upload content and automatically post to all the social media you want to use for your business. It is a paid service, but if you can use it properly, it will be very helpful to you.

3. When and how often should you post?

This is a question you will have to answer for yourself,  others may suggest you post it on a daily basis or post randomly each day, still, you will decide what timing works best for you. It can be once a day or every 2 days or every hour. But once you decide on the best time, you should stick to it. Be consistent about your schedule.

Social media is a land of many opportunities. There are countless personal and professional benefits if you use social media properly. With a little love, care and familiarity, you can grow your personal brand and business into an epicenter of opportunity online

Be profitable and be blessed.
