Are you missing opportunities?

Everyone and welcome to the Nef Nugget. Come on in. Say hello to me in the comments. Let me know where you’re tuning in from and we’re going to get started about are you missing opportunities and what exactly does that mean? And what am I talking about? So for some of you had been following me for a while, you know I used to do Monday morning prayer and so I have since stopped doing Monday morning prayer, but I’m adding it to the Nef Nugget and so every morning when you join me on Nef Nugget, I will do a short, quick to the point prayer cause you know how Nef do, and then we’re gonna get right into the one tip that will inspire you to act and motivate you to move. So heavenly father, I come to you as humbly as I know how God praying for each and every person that watches this live, who shares this live God.

I’m praying for their life, their family and their business. God let your will be done. All things in it for them to cast all your cares upon you, God, because you care for them. And Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen. So let’s get into it. Are you missing opportunities? I’m talking about are you missing opportunities for the simple fact here. Lately I’ve been doing a lot of networking. I have decided that I’m going to come from behind the laptop. I’m going to get out in my local community and meet and greet as I like to say, shake hands and kiss babies out here in these local Durham streets. So also, if you are in this local area, I want to tell you about two things that’s happening. One, save the date for my Clarity to Cash™ Live. This happened in January, 2020.

So I would love to connect with you there. So let’s talk about networking. How many of you are networking, even if you’re primarily a business that operates online, how much are you actually going out into your community and talking about your business? Even though you may serve people online, primarily you’re missing out on so many opportunities because you’re not, when you’re out and about whether you’re going to the grocery store, you’re volunteering you out with some girlfriends you are at a family reunion. You’re not telling people what you do and you’re not also letting them know what type of services or things that you may need because you never know who the person you’re talking to. May know this happened recently, happens to me. I was in a Facebook group and they were saying, who’s here from North Carolina? So some people that were in close proximity to where I’m at in North Carolina, Durham.

I was like, Hey, I would love to connect and learn more about you as well as learn more about your business. So, Oh, young lady by the name of Alecia, and she is a mindset coach here in the local area. And she reached out and say, Hey, let’s connect. So we connected and from her connection I got to connect with Ms Moya Foster, who host events here locally in the triangle area. And from that Moya introduced me to a young lady by the name of Kim who has a business called O’Kella’s book club where she sells accessories. And also she does book clubs as well. So just from that one connection, just that one, reach out, I now know several other women and continue to meet more women and more men that are parallel-preneurs. You’re trying to juggle your profession as well as your passion.

And that just means my network is growing. More people know about my business, I know about others people’s business. So when people come to me and they’re looking for a resource that I can point them in the right direction by from somebody that I know that I trust, that will provide them the service or the product that they need. That will be, that will be top notch. So you’re, today’s Nef Nugget is to go out here and network. I don’t care if it’s a family reunion, I don’t care if it’s at the grocery store. It doesn’t matter. Any opportunity. You have to let somebody they know what it is that you do. Take that opportunity and let them know. It’s, especially if you’re a person that’s still working or not a five. Don’t lead with, I work for X company and this is my position.

But also I do X. I want you to lead with, I’m an entrepreneur. This is what I do. How can I help you? And then, and then when I dig more into the conversation, you can all say, and by trade or by day, I work at such and such, you want to, but lead with the business, the one that where you’re building a legacy, the one that’s gonna give you the financial freedom and give you the time and money freedom that you crave. Um, so that is, your Nef Nugget for today. Get out here and network because if you’re not networking, you’re definitely missing opportunities.
