Let us face it, removing people from your life is very hard, it takes a lot of courage and prayers to do it. There are times when we think about removing the wrong people from our lives in the sense that “we used to do that and now we do not, so we do not need to hang out with people like that,” but this mentality can also be applied to business.
Sometimes, whether we admit it or not, we outgrow certain business friends or business colleagues or business circles or coaches, whatever you call them. They are not necessarily wrong or bad, but they were there for a reason and for a period of time, but if you now think it’s time for you to invest differently or surround yourself with a different group of people, sometimes that’s the easiest way to remove certain people from your life.
Or there are people who are constantly complaining and comparing as you try to move to a higher level in your business and follow your vision, and when things do not go the way you expected, those are the people who intrude and start these negative conversations that are not helpful to you, then it’s time to remove those people
Set boundaries (especially with complainers)
Naggers and negative people are bad news. They wallow in their problems and do not focus on solutions. They want others to feel sorry for them so they can feel better about themselves. Just because you do not want to be seen as rude, keep listening to them. Always remember that there is a fine line between lending a sympathetic ear and getting drawn into their negative emotion.
The only way you can avoid this is by setting boundaries and distancing yourself when you feel it is necessary. A good way to set a boundary is to ask the complainant how he intends to resolve the issue. This way, he will either shut up and keep quiet or steer the conversation or his complaint in a very productive direction.
Do not let them rob you of your joy
As a Christian and true follower of Christ, we are not perfect, we are far from perfect, but we strive every day to be like Him. Therefore, there is certain music we no longer listen to, certain things we no longer do, and certain people we no longer want to be with because we do not want our joy to be compromised.
God, through the Holy Spirit, gives us the strength to live free from these negative people. He gives us the strength to live strong, and He gives us wisdom and discernment to make the right decisions and associate with the right people. And at the end of the day, we should always choose to be happy and live our lives the way we most want to live them.
