We’ve all been to the point where we ask ourselves, am I in the right place? Am I doing the right thing? Should I keep on doing these things? How do I keep on keeping on? Let’s admit it, we can’t escape these questions. That’s why today, I want to share with you some tips if you’re encountering these questions.
Keep on doing what works best.
At this point, you’ve tried everything to keep your business working. So you know what’s working or not, probably. And by that, we land at our first tip – keep on doing what works best.
Some people may say, “you should try these.” or “you should try that.” But remember that you know your business by heart and have mastered what works best and not. Here’s a sad truth, not all suggestions fit the shoe. So, If plan A works better than plan B, then go with plan A.
Regardless of what others suggest, if it works, it will sustain your business. Whatever works, keep going.
Commit to a proper schedule.
In business, time is beyond gold — it is everything. So having a properly managed time can help you think freely and creatively. But as business owners, there are a lot of sacrifices to make.
Business owners are expected to be the head of the company who does not give up and someone who keeps on working. Let’s say you have your 8-5 job, then another 8 hours of sleep. According to a financial advisor, what you do in the remaining hours is what makes you rich!
Having said that, learning and practicing a well-managed working schedule is essential. Not only for your business but also to attain an outstanding work-life balance.
There will be times that you’ll want to give up. Hardships will come, but remember why you started and how you started to keep that fire burning. It’s not always a shinny day, they say. But in times of having the feeling of almost giving up, don’t. Instead, walk down memory lane and see how far you’ve come to give up now. Indeed, you’ll be amazed by your journey.
