Understanding Your Buyer

And today we’re talking about one of the sales skills that every business owner should have, and that’s understanding your buyer. I want you to think and go beyond what kind of car do they drive? If they’re married, if they have kids go beyond the normal client avatar type exercises that you would normally do, I want you to kind of really understand how they buy, what type of things they enjoy buying, what type of services do they like buying?
Do they like a full service approach where they don’t have to lift a finger or are they more of a do it yourself type person? And they want just some little assistance, but they prefer to do it on their own. Do they expect you to be the expert and give them the answers to every one of their questions that your service provider or do they prefer more partner, collaborative type of experience. We all partnered together and come up with the answers to solve their problems. Knowing these answers to these questions will help you clearly identify the type of packages you should put together for your ideal client. Why would you even consider putting together a DIY package? If you know that your ideal clients prefer not to lift a finger, they want it all done for them. They want it from the beginning to end to have a complete solution or a complete experience, right?
That’s some things you need to think about and know about your client in order to put together a package that is easy for you to sell to them because you have everything covered based on understanding how they like to buy the service that you provide. So your one tip one Nef nugget for today that will inspire you to act and motivates you to move is for you to understand your client’s desires. And if you’re still not quite sure what that looks like, talk to some of your previous clients and ask them, you know, if you’re considering a different service or considering adding something to the service, ask for that feedback, ask them, this is what you currently provide. Is it something that’s missing from that package? Or this is something you’re thinking about creating is everything that they would want if there was a purchase that included in that service. So just take a little time, do a little research and find out and understand truly what is it is that your buyer’s desire. And so the next time be profitable and be blessed. Bye for now.
